Christie Cookie Company has been using the ASSISTCommerce Suite Software since July 1999.  They specialize in freshly baked Cookies and Brownies for purchase in Elegant Gift Packages, Unique Corporate Gifts, and Unique Personal gifts, for retail, mail order and wholesale purchasing.



Assist Cornerstone teams with Fortrex Technologies for Security and Compliance Solutions

Sandy, UT – January 2007 - Assist Cornerstone, the leading provider of cross-channel, real-time enterprise software solutions and Fortrex Technologies, a market leader in providing IT security, operational risk and compliance solutions, announced today that Assist Cornerstone is working toward compliance with the Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) in accordance with Visa USA’s Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP).

The requirements for the PABP are derived from the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The PCI DSS, which can be found at www.pcisecuritystandards.org, details the requirements for PCI compliance (and therefore what a payment application must support to facilitate an application user’s PCI compliance).

THE ASSISTCommerce Suite™ solution includes the following integrated modules:

Order Management
Fully integrated in real time, web orders, catalog orders, mail orders and point of sale orders all flow seamlessly through order management. This powerful, multi-channel module integrates your business units taking orders over the internet, in the call center or at your store. Order management boasts a wide array of powerful features for multi-channel marketing, including: order capture, order tracking from entry to shipping, credit card processing, returns processing, keycode and source code capture, continuity orders, coupons, gift certificates, multiple price calculation models, scripting, BOM, tax calculation, and more. Business to business features include, customer specific pricing, quotes, open accounts, automated invoices, debit/credit memos, and multi-level contact information, to name a few.

WebStore
Web orders are integrated in real time to the back office and flow into the order management module. With all the functionality of the order management module, items, pricing, promotions, etc. are maintained in the back office and pushed to the web, thus only one point of maintenance. Web returns or reverse logistics are flexible and efficient, increasing customer satisfaction and improving operational efficiencies.

Direct Marketing
Keycodes, offers, and lists are managed from the direct marketing module. Offers are marketing communication methods such as a catalog, flyer, web special promotion, mail piece or infomercial. Lists pertain to a specific grouping of names, defined further below in List Management. Keycodes are the combination of lists and offers captured for the purpose of analyzing a marketing campaign's effectiveness. Features in this module include page analysis, RFM score, decoys and seeds, prospect mailing history, finder number and multi-step marketing processes. Cross-sell, up-sell, add-ons, alternate items are also defined in this module.

List Management
Allows users to import or export address files. Purchased import files and export files for sale can be divided or split up for the purpose of A/B testing. Query lists are integrated with current customer database for duplicate customer search. List management interfaces to CASS certification software for address correction, verification and standardization. Assigns customer number on the fly during order entry. Create lists for sale with hundreds of variables from demographics to customer order history

Inventory/Warehouse Management
This module allows users to enter and maintain inventory items. Provides inventory transactions control, multiple location assignment capabilities, standard cost and pricing establishment, cycle counting, on-line inquiries, and standard operational reports. Inventory 'available for sales' gives user inventory, purchasing and order information needed to make job. Dimensional items (size, color and style) are standard, as well as configurable items and pre-assembled kits. All of which are integrated for purposes of availability and reorders. Order allocation is a very flexible feature for both the business to consumer and business to business environment. Allows multiple allocation methods including FCFS, priority based, prorated, etc. Provides multiple picking methods and filters such as single order, wave, shipper, priority, item and more. Includes order verification, e-mail notification, drop shipping, summary invoicing. Order packing and on-line manifesting and tracking is supplied by partner software. See below.

Customer Relationship Management
Supports full featured inquiry of customers, orders, invoices, payments, items, and more. Supports capture of customized product information for reporting and follow-up. Provides RMA's, restocking fees and reason codes in returns processing as well as refunds processing via credit card or A/P check. Built in fraud protection filters and multiple FTC notification. Is the repository for all orders, payments, notes, written correspondence and emails with your customers, accessed in real time.

Purchasing
Supports orders for inventoried and non-inventoried items. Integrates with inventory and forecasting to alleviate shortages and over-purchases. Cost centers, approval paths and auto-requisitions are provided. Auto three way matching, e.g. PO, receiving, and vendor invoice to create vouchers for the correct amount is a standard feature. Uses master file template creation to define vendors. Vendor performance statistics and tracking by job.

Demand Forecasting
Assist now has the ability to create, name, copy, and store a demand curve, on-line. The curves can be created either manually or created automatically from sales history. The curves can then be used in conjunction with offers and sales history to create sales forecasts. The Forecasts can also be named, copied, and stored by user and date. Assist also provides "Work With" capability for both Forecasts and Curves. As a result, users will now have the ability to set future inventory levels, predict buying patterns and introduce new lines more effectively.

Point of Sale
Currently under development, Assist is creating a jsp-based point of sale module. With input from our clients this module will allow orders from 'brick and mortar' retail stores to be integrated into the ASSISTCommerce Suite. Cash drawer, till management and store replenishment features will be offered to meet the many demands of the small to medium sized retail organization in a multi-channel environment.

General Ledger
User defined chart of accounts structure. Real time with no month-end batch jobs to run. Provides journal entry processing, on-line interactive processing, and unlimited budgets. Supports 4 to 14 fiscal periods, and lets user post to multiple fiscal periods or years. Handles multiple companies. Supports multiple languages and currencies in integrated reports. Allows job tracking and reporting. Allows both recurring and reversing entries.

Accounts Payable
AP allows users to disburse cash through manual or computer - generated checks, wire transfers, and bank drafts. Pays invoices fully or partially. Allows invoice tracking by job. Calculates gross and net discounts. Includes payment clearing, account reconciliation, custom vendor support, vendor payment management, recurring vouchers, and on-line inquiries. Prints labels.

Accounts Receivable
AR supports unlimited number of receipt types, including credit card, checks, cash, installment plans, open accounts, and wire transfers. Allows cash to be received in multiple currencies and deposited in multiple bank accounts. Provides individual customer maintenance, customer statements and dunning letters, variable finance charges, credit limit processing, and on-line inquires. Powerful and flexible cash application features. Credit card authorization and payment plan maintenance is administrated through a Paymentechä interface.

Reporting Standard with the system is operational, end user and management reporting. Operational reports include held orders, price lists, inventory balances, inventory available for sale, P.O. report, open P.O. report, trial balance plus many more that can be date, customer or product specific. Unlimited end user reports are further refined and provide sales history analysis, gross margin reports, detailed sales activity, shipped products, back orders, and open orders reports to name a few. Direct marketing related reports include: orders by keycode, offer, list, item, customer, item attributes, etc. While operational and end user reports are real time, management reports are off-line and provide management with three-dimensional graphical data to effectively run their business. Outputs include standard spooled reports, on-screen with drill down, DB2 data files, download to Excel spreadsheets, Assist open source iReports and common report tools such Cognos™ or Crystal Reports.

Shipping (Integrated 3rd Party Package included as Standard)
Varsity Logistics provides the integrated shipping and manifest capabilities. One carrier is included as standard. Tightly integrated with ASSISTCommerce Suite, Varsity passes tracking numbers and other shipping information back to Assist, which is then used for electronic shipping acknowledgements, carrier tracking numbers and other shipping information. Varsity software offers a rich feature set, including package weighing, rate shopping, label generation, ship as/bill as, single station/multiple carrier capability, and electronic manifest submission. Optional features include pick, pack and ship, in addition to LTL and international shipping.

WebStore and Back Office Hosting
In today's world companies want options. For many organizations it just makes sense not to invest in people and hardware infrastructure. At Assist Cornerstone we think more choices is better, so we have partnered with an organization that specializes in hosting the ASSISTCommerce Suite.
